About me.. Mike Hollidge

Having had a passion for sport and fitness from a young age, I enrolled in and completed a Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer course. I loved these courses and found them extremely informative, and this further confirmed my desire to pursue a career in the fitness industry.

I fully understand the importance of health and fitness for individuals not just for their physical well-being but also their mental well-being having suffered from mental health challenges myself in the past. Exercise has always been the one thing that breaks the negative cycle for me and brings a true sense of well-being. I am so passionate about this that I would relish having the opportunity to help others feel better through fitness and exercise, physically and mentally.

I train out of a private gym at my house so this is perfect if you don't feel confident in a gym environment or you would just prefer something a bit more private. I can also accommodate for PT sessions at your home, should this be the case.

I’ve been training with Mike for just over 3 months. Having not exercised for more years than I hate to admit I was very unfit. The mum tum had set in and getting to the top of the stairs felt like a full body workout. Mike listened and created an exercise programme to suit my needs. We started light and have gradually built up with circuits against the clock. Mikes enthusiasm (even at 6am!), professionalism and encouragement have massively helped.
